BOOKSTORE
Textbooks, basic necessities, clothing, gifts, computer software, and
school supplies are available at the college bookstores on the Emmetsburg, Estherville
and Spencer
campuses. A textbook buy-back service is available. The college stores also provide
textbook service to the Algona and Spirit Lake campuses.

AVAILABILITY
Books for each semester will be available by
registration day.
CLERK SERVICE
Please have a copy of your registration form with
you to assist in speeding up the purchase of books.
PAYMENT
All purchases must be paid for by cash, check or credit
card (Visa, Master or Discover). Vouchers are given
only with approved Financial Aid, and are accepted only during
specific times. Vouchers can be obtained at the Campus Business
Office. Students should plan on $300 plus at the beginning of the
college year for books. Notebooks, pencils, etc. may not be
purchased on Vouchers. Checks will be accepted for the amount of
the purchase only.
PURCHASE DAYS
To avoid long lines and delays, plan on purchasing your
books on your registration days at the beginning of the semester,
as noted on the calendar.
RETURNS
There are NO returns unless you have an add/drop slip signed by your
advisor, or if the class is cancelled. Full refund up to the end of the
first week of the semester if books are returned unmarked. Books with
shrink-wrap cannot be returned if removed from wrap. If the book contains
a floppy disk or CD-ROM, please do not break the seal since copyright laws do
not allow us to make a refund. After that, books can only be returned at
the end of the semester during Buy Back Days. If you are unsure you need a
book for a class, go to the first class, then purchase the book.
BUY BACK DAYS
Buy back days are the last five days of each semester and the last day of
each summer session. Your textbooks may include supplemental
materials such as: CD, online information or power web, these must be
included with the books when returned. Books must be in resalable
condition.
SCHOLARSHIPS
The Bookstore gives seven $200.00 scholarships for books
for the Fall and Spring semester. Students must re-apply each
